Sunburst supports green design, products, and buildings. We reuse our materials whenever possible. We recycle water that cools down items as they’re finished in the ovens. We reuse packaging materials. We reuse shutter fragments – or regrind them and recycle them into new shutters. We end up recycling hundreds of tons of materials every year.

When we package our window treatments to be transported to your residence for installation, we place reusable corner pieces on the louvers’ edges and use the least amount of cardboard to package the shutters.

Our interior shutters are coated with paints that are environmentally safe and hypoallergenic. In our manufacturing method, our paints don’t give off fumes. We mean it when we claim our paints are safe.
